Vestments for the Deacon
Saturday, August 22, God willing, Bishop Thomas will ordain Michael Zeigler as Deacon. We’re filled with joy and happiness for him. What a day it will be! As an expression of love, it is fitting that the community help Michael procure his first set of vestments. If you would like to participate, put a check in the tithe box. Use a tithing envelope and designate the amount for Deacon’s Vestments.
Food Pantry Request
If you’re spring cleaning at home and come across some non-perishable items in your pantry, the food pantry at church CAN USE THEM! Here are some ideas: canned meat/fish, peanut butter, jelly, dry milk, granola bars, soup/ramen, canned vegetables, or canned fruit.
